The tagline of Nabil Charif’s business card says, "There is nothing better than being understood.” Nabil is passionate about opening communication across cultural and language barriers, as the name of his business clearly states: Bridging the Gap Interpreting, LLC.

Nabil has always had the spirit of an entrepreneur. Combined with his ability to speak four languages and a passion to encourage communication across cultures, the natural outcome is an interpreter business.

Bridging The Gap Interpreting, LLC, has a network of over 100 interpreters speaking over 50 languages.They offer on-site interpreting for medical consultations or procedures, court proceedings, general business, conferences and more. In addition to interpreting and document translation, they offer cultural consulting which helps bridge the cultural gap.

In the future Nabil plans to expand the services to offer practical language teaching to businesses individuals who are traveling and need a working knowledge of terms and phrases.

If you ask him, Nabil will tell you that he took the First Step FastTrac class at the perfect time.  He had already been in business for three months, so he was able to directly apply each step to his business. He says, "I had been so excited and happy, and was full of a lot of positive emotions because I was glad to be starting my own business but the class showed me how to face challenges in logical way, not just be excited about business emotionally, but it gave me the best road map and gave me an idea about feasibililty."
